Looking Forward to Term Two at The Academy!

Looking Forward to Term Two at The Academy!

As we move through Term 1, it’s been a joy to see our students settling in, embracing new challenges, and engaging with learning across every year level. From our Kindergarten classrooms to our senior years, the energy, curiosity, and commitment our students bring each day is a true reflection of The Academy’s vibrant learning culture.

Kindergarten 2026 Open Day

We’re excited to welcome prospective families to The Academy for our Kindergarten 2026 Open Day and Enrolment Meeting. This is a special opportunity for families to see our school in action, meet our wonderful staff and students, and learn more about what a personalised, future-focused education looks like at The Academy.

Families will enjoy a guided school tour with our Year 6 students, visit our Kindergarten classroom to see Mrs Burns and her class in action, and explore our brand-new school hall. After a short presentation, there will be morning tea with the executive team, and an opportunity to book your enrolment interview.

If you know a family considering The Academy, we would love for you to share this event with them.

Year 7 2026 Information Evening – Wednesday, 5 June at 6pm

For our current Year 6 families and prospective high school parents, we warmly invite you to our Year 7 2026 Information Evening at The Academy. This is a chance to hear from staff and explore what a small, academic high school experience could mean for your child. We’ll discuss our curriculum, our approach to wellbeing and behaviour, and the exciting pathways offered through our International Baccalaureate (IB) program for senior students. There will also be opportunities to tour the school, ask questions, and connect with our dedicated educators. We hope you’ll join us to discover how we support each learner from Year 7 through to graduation.

IB Information Session – for Year 9 & 10 Families

We’re proud to offer a globally recognised International Baccalaureate (IB) program for senior students—and we know families often have questions about what it looks like in practice. That’s why we’re inviting our Year 9 and 10 students and parents to a dedicated session hosted by IB Coordinators Pete Whiting and Simon Hamblin. You’ll learn how the IB learner profile shapes students into global citizens and critical thinkers, and how our broad, balanced, and conceptually rich curriculum prepares young people for success in higher education and beyond. This session is a wonderful opportunity to see how our future-focused approach to learning is preparing students to make meaningful change in the world.
