Now enrolling Years 1-2

Hi, my name is Mandi Randell, I’m the Principal of the Academy. I have prepared the following information below for parents of children thinking of enrolling in Years 1-2.

Having spoken with our parents of children years 1-2, I found they typically had the following  4 common concerns before enrolling their children into the Academy:

1. They felt their child was a little different, from an academic or emotional level, to other children of their own age group.

2. They felt that their values around education were different to other parents.

3. They thought their child was capable of more.

4. They felt that their child wasn’t being academically challenged and was bored/ losing joy of learning as a result.

We understand, as parents ourselves, how important it is for children of these Years to find their way and build their resilience, self-direction and self-motivation.

This is why we built the Academy: to help parents and children of Dubbo and the Central West through our small class sizes, teaching excellence and personalised learning plans in a safe environment.

Yes, we’re a bit different. But in a good way. And we’re kicking goals and are leading cutting edge pedagogy from right here in Dubbo.

Are we for everyone? No, we’re not. But if you are a family who values education, think you may want your children to go to Uni, and you value developing grit, resilience and strong work habits in your children, we absolutely are right for you.
