The Academy Hosts Very First Regional Philosothon

On August 30 and 31 2018, The Academy hosted the first Philosothon - The Big Ideas Challenge - to be held for a regional primary school in Australia.

The Big Ideas Challenge was held at Charles Sturt University to promote critical and creative thinking for the region’s gifted children. 62 children from 5 schools attended and undertook challenging activities around philosophy, creativity and innovation.

We had several of our students win judges prizes as stand out thinkers and community citizens. It was an amazing event and we look forward to hosting another one next year.

The Academy is committed to bringing new and innovative educational opportunities to the Dubbo region for students of all schools to enjoy.
